Bombastic

Located in Lakewood, Washington, Jubs Joose is a premium line of e-juice whose mission is "To provide a reasonable premium e liquid that is free of diketones and additives that are not needed to make a great e liquid. We work hard to provide a few great recipes and take the time to make them as great as possible without adding more risk factors to our customer's health, and still make a great tasting product." (from their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/jubsjoose )

A relatively new company, they have a small, but very flavorful line of juices.  The names are easy to remember and all tie together: Bombastic, Yumtastic, Redtastic, Fuzztastic, and Nomtastic.

The maestro in charge of making these tasty juices is Justin Warnock.  He's a very friendly guy who is committed to giving his customers the best, safest, tastiest product he can.  I've had the great pleasure of chatting with Justin and I can tell he is dedicated to his vision and to his juice line.

The customer service offered is top notch.  Justin is willing to talk to anyone interested in top quality ejuice, and he is more than happy to discuss the profiles of each flavor to help his customers make a decision with which they will be thrilled.  Turn around time on your order is pretty quick - most often, your juice will be in the mail within 24 hours of you placing the order.

Even though he is about to officially launch the entire line, buzz has been building quickly due to his awesome pre-launch sales.  A limited number of each flavor has been available for purchase, and - as a testament to just how good each juice is - if you do not order quickly, your desired flavor may be sold out.

After hearing so many wonderful things about the Jubs’ Joose line, I had to order some to try it for myself.  I took the plunge and ordered a bottle of Bombastic.

To quote the website on the flavor profile:  “This flavor is a lemon meringue cookie, just like the Italian ones that melt on your tongue as you put them in your mouth. This is a delicate but complete and complex liquid, you even get a crispy edge on the bottom of the cookie experience! If you're looking for a nice spin on cookie vapes, this fits the bill.”

I was skeptical at first because most ejuices with any sort of lemon profile are either too lemony, too harsh, or just completely gross.  Something about the lemon flavoring used seems to react wrong with the rest of the ingredients, and you’re left with this thick, nasty aftertaste on the back of your tongue and (if you do nose blasts) in your nostrils and sinus passages.

Bombastic is not that kind of juice.

I first tried it by tasting a drop of juice on my finger.  Even with no heat and no vapor, there was a definite difference in the flavor profiles.  You could sense that light, airy delicate meringue cookie in that very concentrated drop – but it wasn’t overwhelming and it wasn’t harsh at all.  There was no tongue tingling sensation of citrus; there was no slight burn on the sensitive skin inside your mouth or in the back of your throat from the lemon at all.

So I knew I had to break out my dripper and dive in head first.

I’d saved rewicking just because I knew this juice was arriving, and I was not disappointed in the wait.  Using a VW/VV mod (the Sigelei 150w), I started at 50 watts, still leery of the harshness I suspected may come with heating the juice.

It never came.

What did come, however, was this wonderful, light flavor that played with my taste buds the way a fine pastry does.  On the first inhale, I got that lemony meringue and actually felt like I’d been eating one of the cookies.  Inhaling for a nose blast, the flavor continued traveling into my nasal passages – and it was as if you could smell the cookies baking in an Italian grandmother’s kitchen.  (I almost expected someone’s Nonna to start telling me I needed to eat more because I was too skinny!!)

On the exhale, I really could taste the edges of the cookie where they crisp up on the baking sheet, turning darker than the rest of the cookie from contact with the metal.

After a few vapes at 50 watts, I started turning them up in 5 watt increments.  Save for having to rewet the cotton wicking as it dried out at the higher settings, I never got a harsh hit from this wonderful juice.  The flavor remained delicate, even over 100 watts, and the lemon never became harsh like most citrus ejuices do.  It never overwhelmed the rest of the flavor profile like it can in popular ejuices like the fruity cereal flavors.

I very highly recommend this juice to ANYONE who likes a fruit, dessert, or citrus flavor to vape on – or to anyone in search of a new all day vape because this could definitely fit the bill.

I can’t wait to try other flavors in the Jubs’ Joose line.
