I’ve actually had the pleasure of meeting the fine folks of Moose Knuckle e-liquids.  Run out of SUMO Vapor in Anchorage, Alaska, it is immediately evident that they know their vape stuff when you walk into the shop.  The Moose Knuckle tasting and mixing bar is to your left immediately inside the store, across from several glass display cases, showcasing a variety of vape supplies, mods, RDAs, and tanks.  Beyond the bar and display cases are some comfy couches arranged around a flat screen TV, like you were in someone’s living room.  It’s an inviting space to just hang out, vape, and chat with other vapers.

In addition to the 20 flavors profiled on their website, the tasting bar also features dozens of other awesome flavors available on their expansive menu.  Let me tell ya, if you can dream it, Moose Knuckle has a flavor for you.  From simple fruity flavors like apple and strawberry to more complex concoctions like oatmeal butterscotch cookies and Mountain Dew Baja Blast, the mix maestros have ensured there’s a flavor for every vaper out there.

You’ll also notice something different about the staff of SUMO Vapor and Moose Knuckle – they’re all approachable, down-to-earth people who love to vape.  All of them have various mods they’re using with quite the collection of tanks and RDAs – and they will all take the time to explain their setups and builds to you if you ask.  The customer service is top notch, and they make sure all their customers – new vapers and seasoned veterans alike – leave with the equipment they need to fulfill their particular vape needs.

Equipment-wise, they carry quite the selection.  From starter kits to advanced mods and RDAs, you can find that particular setup for every vaping level and budget.

And don’t think the only juice you will find is the Moose Knuckle line.  SUMO Vapor actually carries several different lines of different e-liquids from different manufacturers all over the country.

I will eventually review several different flavors on the Moose Knuckle e-liquids menu, but for now, I will start with one featured on their website – the Creamy Strawberry Cheesecake.  This was not the first Moose Knuckle juice I tried, but I chose this one specifically because it is available to order on the website.

When I first opened the bottle, I immediately smelled the wonderful fragrance of a sweet strawberry filling – the kind you’d find in your favorite jelly doughnut or swirled into a perfect cheesecake, but this wasn’t an artificial type of strawberry.  If you close your eyes, you could almost picture a ripe, ruby red berry bursting with the sweetness and flavor of a summer’s day.

That wonderful strawberry was the starring flavor when I tasted a drop of it on my finger to test it without heat, but underneath, supporting the berry goodness, was this hint of a graham cracker crust.

Excitedly, I juiced up fresh cotton and fired my mod a few times at 50 watts.  The vapor filling the air smelled like the kitchen of your favorite bakery.  The graham cracker crust was very noticeable as was the creamy strawberry cheesecake aroma.  It was a heavenly, heady mix that enticed me to want to vape it.

Upon that first inhale, the first taste that hit me was creamy, smooth, strawberry cheesecake.  While sweet, it was not overwhelming so; nor was it too rich like cheesecake sometimes can be.  The attention to every last detail, flavor wise, was evident in that first little taste.

Exhaling, I could still taste the strawberry but once again, underscoring it like a good crust should, the graham cracker crust was evident.  It didn’t overwhelm the star of the show, though – that strawberry cheesecake goodness.

This juice is one that just kept getting better and better as I raised the wattage on my mod.  It never got harsh and the increase in temperature actually improved the taste.  It became more and more like a gourmet cheesecake each time the wattage increased.

Unlike a good cheesecake, this juice never was too rich or too sweet to keep it from being an all day vape.  It retained the right balance of fruity and savory (due to the graham cracker flavor), making it the perfect juice to enjoy at any time of day.

I highly recommend this to anyone who loves strawberries, cheesecake, or both!
